Happy Birthday, Dremel!
Old Favorite Introduces New Vise
|
This year, Dremel(R) celebrates its 75th year in business. Since inventing the high-speed rotary tool in 1935, Dremel has become the top selling manufacturer of this type of tool in the world. Today, Dremel is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Robert Bosch Tool Corporation in Mount Prospect, Illinois. |
|
New from the company this spring is the Dremel Multi-Vise(tm), a handy helping hand that offers woodworkers (and especially carvers) a way to secure projects and tools for the most precise detail work. By combining the features of a portable vise, rotary tool holder and bar clamp into an effective, three-in-one format, the Multi-Vise cuts down on benchtop clutter.

| And when removed from the base, the vise jaws serve as a stand-alone bar clamp. The jaws grip widths of up to 7-1/2", and provide optimum stability with an extra-wide base. There's a quick release button and a specially hardened diamond-shaped slide bar that resists twisting and bowing. |
