Fine Furninshings adds Craft Show
This year's Fine Furnishings Shows in Milwaukee and Providence will add dozens of new artisans who will be presenting fine handcrafted jewelry, wearables, glass and ceramics, with the addition of the Fine Craft Show, formerly the Providence Craft Show. These new exhibitors will occupy approximately 1/5 of the floor space at each venue. The names of the new shows will be Fine Furnishings & Fine Craft Shows.

Andrew Glasgow, Executive Director of the Furniture Society, which endorses the Fine Furnishings Shows, said the following upon hearing the news. "I'm very excited that the Fine Furnishings Shows will add the Fine Craft Shows to their events this year, as the synergy created by these two show segments serve to benefit everyone through cooperative publicity and efficiency. In addition, the visitors who come to one show will certainly be interested in the fine work at the other.....it is a remarkable opportunity to do ever better things as a show that will serve both the public and the makers better."

Karla Little of KL Communications, the owner and producer of the Fine Furnishings Shows, commented that "the addition of the Fine Craft Show will also benefit our (furniture) exhibitors, as it will increase the base of potential customers that could result in sales, orders and commissions."
