Two new flush-cutting Jigsaws from DeWALT

DeWALT has introduced two new premium performance jigsaws, available in a corded 6.5 amp model (DW331K) and cordless 18-volt (DC330K) model, which is shown here. The corded version has a 6-1/2 Amp motor and a speed range from 500 to 3100 spm. The cordless model packs an 18Volt battery pack and speeds range from 0 to 3000 spm. Four-position orbital action is an added feature, allowing users to set the aggression level of each cut by altering the angle of the blade. Both models also offer an innovative flush cutting blade that allows the teeth to cut at the front of the shoe. An oversized lever action keyless blade delivers fast and easy blade removal and insertion. Rubber grips are located on both the top and front of the jigsaw for two-handed use and better control. A counterbalance mechanism delivers maximum vibration dampening during cutting, and a dust blower creates a clear sight line when cutting. The non-marring shoe cover helps avoid damaging softer materials.

Slick Saw Tables
According to Empire Manufacturing, their new Table-Top Lubricant uses a technology that actually bonds to your saw or other machine table, reducing friction between wood and metal and thereby improving sliding action. This reduced friction eliminates board hang-up and binding, thereby delivering smoother feed. It also repels dust, dirt and moisture, and prevents corrosion. It contains no silicone or petroleum oils, and won't affect finishing or gluing. Table-Top Lubricant comes in two sizes - PN#TTL-2B and PN#TTL-8B, and is packaged in an aerosol-free dispenser, so it can be shipped via air freight without any extra charges.
