Dust and Weatherproof Music/Power Center

Bosch Power Tools and Accessories has come out with a one-of-a-kind item that woodworkers will absolutely love. It's the Bosch Power Box (PB10-CD), the ultimate all-in-one power center and jobsite radio/CD player. With a 4-way GFCI power outlet, integrated Bosch battery charger, 12-volt outlet perfect for charging cell phones and two-way radios, AM/FM digital radio, CD player and auxiliary jack for MP3 players, the Power Box keeps jobsites rockin' all day long. It solves one of the biggest jobsite and workshop problems, the lack of electrical resources, by using only one wall outlet. Users can plug any electrical tool or equipment into the Power Box's 4-way OSHA and UL approved GFCI protected power outlet. Make your work go by faster with your favorite radio station (30 preset buttons) or CD (special anti-skip technology and CD-R/CD-RW compatibility). Included are a large LCD clock and a standard jack for MP3 player compatibility, Bosch batteries will power both the radio and CD-player if an outlet can't be found, while an aluminum roll cage prevents damage from everyday jobsite abuse. Features like sealed buttons, speakers, battery chamber and CD player assure protection from the elements. And an integrated antenna eliminates the opportunity to bend or break it. The Power Box will be available at all major Bosch distribution points, including homecenters, priced at $179 for the CD version and $149 for just the radio, beginning at the end of May.

New Bosch Jig Saw
The new 1590EVSK features a new precision control blade guide system, one-touch blade changes and a tool-less foot bevel. The Precision Control Blade Guide System virtually eliminates blade wander on the tool, making it "the most precise jig saw on the market". The one-touch blade change system provides simple one-handed insertions and a durable, long-lasting lever blade ejection switch for easy blade removal. Hot and broken blades are no longer an issue. The tool-less foot bevel allows users to make adjustments up to 45-degrees with a quick lever action. The saw also features constant response circuitry, which provides a soft start, and special electronics that eliminate stalling in hard materials. Weighing six pounds and boasting the largest motor on the market at 6.4Amps, its variable speed trigger with dial runs from 500 to 2,800 SPM and an engineered four-stage orbital action adjusts the blade motion to match the workpiece and cutting task. Additionally an on/off blower switch connects directly to the vacuum port for efficient dust removal. A barrel grip version of the jig saw will be available in September 2004.
