Summer Issue is on the Way
American Woodturner is the journal of theAmerican Association of Woodturners ( AAW). It includes information, articles, and other material relating to woodturning. The current issue should arrive in homes by June 6 and includes an article by Woodezine's Turner of the Month in December 2004, Bob Rosand, which shows members how to create new textures with a tool borrowed from the welder's shop. Alan Lacer, who appeared as our Turner in April 2004, provides "the steps to success with your next lidded box. And it begins with wood selection". Alan also describes the benefits of shellac, which once was the favorite woodturning finish around the globe.
