The School of Woodworking, situated in the craft village of Homestead Heritage, is surrounded by a 500-acre working farm nestled on the banks of the Brazos river in Central Texas. It is a year-round facility for training apprentices, as well as teaching visiting students and woodworking enthusiasts from all over the country. |

The Center's facility includes two teaching areas and can accomodate up to twenty-four students. One area is designed and equipped for hand-tool woodworking, while the other is a multi-purpose classroom where machine and hand woodworking are taught, as well as wood turning. Each student's work station is complete with a joiner's workbench and a comprehensive hand tool kit. Following is a quick overview of the courses currently being offered for 2005.
