Dust-free Finishing

Norton's new micro-fiber cloths can mean the difference between a good finish and a great finish. Micro-fiber is a single fiber strand, thinner than a human hair, that is split 16 times. The V-shaped splits collect dust particles between the fibers and hold them like a trap. The cloth's surface area is increased over 15 times, creating millions of spaces between the fibers. Using a natural static charge and capillary action, the spaces act as a magnet for dirt and even the smallest particles of dust. Dry Tack Cloths (red) are designed for dry dusting applications - ideal when preparing to apply paint or finish, since they pick up sanding residue and resist snagging with no lint fibers left behind. You will also save money since you can wash and reuse them hundreds of times. Also, traditional tack cloths can contaminate the finish. The micro-fiber cloths are hypoallergenic and measure 16" x 16". Micro-fiber cloths for wet cleaning and polishing applications are also available.

New Version of
Delcam's CAD Software

The latest version of ArtCAM Pro software (Version 7) features new functionality that enables quick and easy creation of CAD models of human face profiles from digital images. The software is already used in a wide range of woodworking applications, including the production of signs, furniture and architectural decoration.
Another impressive new design option is the envelope distortion tool. This offers many ways to manipulate an existing relief by stretching or bending the envelope within which it is contained. For example, the envelope could be made narrower at one end to give the visual effect of perspective to a relief. Similarly, the relief can be fitted to a curve by bending the overall shape of the design.
