Copy your Carvings Colorvision is a California-based reproduction company that can reproduce your woodcarvings in exact detail - from one to thousands of copies, at reasonable prices. They can take your woodcarvings, sculptings and artwork and reproduce it in polyurethane resin. You can work in any medium and when it is cast, the company says it will look just like the original artwork. Casting in polyurethane resin picks up the slightest details, such as fine hairlines or brushstrokes. If the artwork is carved, it picks up the slightest grain in wood. Tool Makes Quick Work of Scribing
|
|
We saw this very clever tool called QuickScribe (TM) at the IWF Show in August. It's a small sub-base that attaches to your router and lets you scribe cabinets, countertops, flooring, wall paneling and other wood items that need to fit tight against walls or floors. It uses a wheel to precisely track the wall while the router bit makes the cut. For more info, visit them online (www.thescribingtool.com) |
