New Miter Saw with LCD Display & Laser Hitachi Power Tools' new 12" compound miter saw, the C12LCH, features an LCD digital miter and bevel scale located at the front of the saw. It allows the user to quickly and accurately set both the bevel and miter angles. A backlight button can be activated on the scale to improve visibility when working in dimly lit areas. The laser marker feature indicates where the blade will cut on the material and can be adjusted to the right or left depending on the user's preference. The saw is powered by a 15 Amp motor and a pivoting aluminum 5-1/8" fence allows crown molding to be cut vertically. The miter ranges from 0-52 degrees, both to the right and left, for a broader range of cuts. |
|
Miter angles can be quickly adjusted using Hitachi's thumb actuated positive stops. An Elastomer grip covers the saw's horizontal handle. This reduces vibration, while adding comfort and preventing slippage. The Hitachi C12LCH comes complete with a 12" TCT Saw blade, dust bag, vice assembly, box wrench and hex bar wrench. It is compatible with Hitachi's Universal workstation. |

Effortless Portable Table Saw Stand
|
|
The new TS2000 Gravity-Rise (TM) portable table saw stand from Bosch Power Tools and Accessories (a division of the Robert Bosch Tool Corporation) is a rugged, portable, and most of all, easy to use stand that is practically effortless to operate. It uses gravity to raise the saw into position or lower it for transporting. Eight-inch treaded pneumatic wheels easily handle rough terrain and make tool transport nearly effortless. And because of the Gravity-Rise's balanced design, one person can load it in and out of a truck by simply pivoting one side up and in. The Gravity-Rise is designed to accommodate most manufacturers' portable table saws. If you're looking for a new table saw, you might want to take a look at the Bosch 4000-09, a standard Bosch 4000 series table saw that comes complete with its own Gravity-Rise stand. JET's New Line of Dust Collectors has... Remote Control!
| JET has added six new remote controlled models to their line of dust collectors. The remote control lets operators turn the collector on and off without having to step away from their workbench and provides additional placement options within the shop. |
|
Shown above is JET's DC-1100 dust collector with a remote control/timer and a collection canister. Its 1.5 HP motor runs on 115 volts and has a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $499.99. |
The timer, with its easy-to-read digital
display, can be set to turn the dust collector off from one minute to
99 minutes. Optional canister filters can be added to the collectors
to increase filtering capacity to over six times that of standard filter
bags and the quick-install collection bags provide easy cleanup. The
canisters are able to filter particles as small as two microns versus
standard cloth bags that only filter down to 30 microns. In addition
to their superior performance, the collectors' single-stage design allows
quiet operation while casters allow for total mobility. For more information, visit them online (www.wmhtoolgroup.com). |
