DustSucker&More!

The patented DustSucker&More from the Stots Corporation handles router table dust collection and several other tasks, too. Made in the U.S.A., you can use it to store router bits, your collet wrenches, a pencil, ruler, bit lubricant - in fact, anything you need to be able to find at a glance. It has storage for 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" and 8mm diameter shaft router bits. Plus, the right front edge works as a starter (fulcrum pin) when you use bits with bearings. Connect vacuum hoses directly, or use an adaptor, depending on size. The unit can be used with a fence, or in stand-alone applications. It can also be used with a lap bench, when power carving. Stots offers free plans for fences, router tables, a lap bench and more..

Fat Max... beyond Tape Measures

Stanley's new FatMax(R) Saw with Blade Armor(TM) Coating, has a composite coating on the bladethat provides six times more abrasion protection, and results in 50 per cent less friction, when compared to Stanley's standard lacquered saws. The coating also supplies the saw with twice as much rust protection and its patented SharpTooth(TM) design allows it to cut 50 per cent faster - while its thicker blade significantly reduces binding. The saw is ideal for cutting wet and immature wood, plasterboard, large timbers and other composite materials that can be abrasive. The handle is approximately 60 per cent thicker than other panel saws, and has an ergonomically designed slip-resistant grip, providing ultimate comfort and control.

And finally...

Terry M, a regular reader from the Midwest, sent in the photo at right which he came across on the Internet. The craftsman and photographer are both unknown. (Does anyone want to take credit? Send us an e-mail.)

Terry asked if we could possibly "create a set of plans for this great woodworking project?"

We think you could maybe handle this one on your own, Terry. After all, we wouldn't want to "spoil" you!
