Woodezine is looking for an advertising sales representative for our dynamic monthly online publication. Currently, the magazine handles about three million requests for pages every month, and our readership includes woodworkers, turners and carvers all over the world. We are growing at an average of more than 16% readership... every issue! (200% a year.) Our circulation has doubled since July. Our representative will be paid on straight commission: 1/3 of all sales they complete. This is a work-from-home position and will entail some phone, mail and e-mail costs which will not be reimbursed. If successful, you will act as an independent subcontractor, set your own schedule, and always be paid within ten days of the company being paid. Each year, the company will send the successful candidate to one large woodworking show (late July in Las Vegas or August in Atlanta) where they can meet the majority of their clients face-to-face. (If you're physically unable to attend shows, we can work around that.) The publisher has accumulated a database of potential advertisers to get you started. The successful candidate will have a sales background and a strong familiarity with woodworking. Some knowledge of the publishing world would be a distinct advantage. Please send your resume to...
